Flagship Store
Secure a prime location where a Lloyd’s Coffee House can function as the flagship coffee house.
Such a location would have the following characteristics:
High visibility and custom traffic
Suitable to the concept such as near the waterfront, near centers of commerce, and a historically appropriate location
Attractive to media coverage of the concept
Ability to attract investment partners
This store will serve as the first US Lloyd’s Coffee House and will set the standard for the Lloyd’s Coffee House concept and for potential franchises.
Coffee Shops
Introduce the Lloyd’s Coffee basic concept to independently owned small coffee shops.
In this implementation approach Lloyd’s Coffee will focus on getting the product name and concept to the end user through a loose federation of independent coffee shops.
These coffee shops will retain their independence but can now rely on a larger network of similarly branded coffee shops and take advantage of the advertising and branding content that Lloyd’s Coffee provide.
The Lloyd’s Coffee brand will show that the shops have a local focus, but a global outlook, and that their approach to coffee is grounded in an ancient tradition of international cooperation and innovation.
Franchise
Under this option Lloyd’s Coffee provides franchise rights to another corporate entity to use the Lloyd’s Coffee brands, the Lloyd’s Coffee House concept and design vocabulary and Lloyd’s Coffee marketing tools to operate a Lloyd’s Coffee House in a specific location.
Franchise locations are particularly envisioned to rely on co-location in commercial real estate developments and appropriate historical and museum locations.
